On Wednesday, unfortunately, the police found the remains of Adea Shabani, essentially confirming her case will be treated as a homicide. The police were able to verify her passing by the tattoos on her person.
According to a report from People Magazine, officers found her remains in a shallow grave just one month after she went missing.
Lieutenant Rob Bringolf – an officer of the County Sheriff’s Office – revealed in a Facebook statement that her death is believed to be a homicide. Coroners are currently investigating the body, but the cause of death was probably a blunt force trauma to her skull. A toxicology and tissue analysis are on their way.
In a report from the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook, the officials stated they had Adea’s remnants at Spenceville Wildlife Area in Penn Valley, California.

When the LAPD gave a press conference, they speculated that her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Spotz, had something to do with her passing. The authorities stated he was probably “involved with her death.”
As it was previously reported, Spotz lost his life on the 22nd of March in California when he found himself in a stand-off with the authorities. Spotz shot himself before he could be captured.
According to Fox-11 in LA, the police chased him from one California area to another, Hesperia to Corona, and an unknown passenger was in the car with him.
Shabani, who tragically lost her life, moved from Macedonia to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She had only lived in the United States for two years according to a report from KABC and her mother flew from Macedonia to find her when she found out Adea was missing.
