In a chat with Time Magazine and GQ Magazine, in two separate interviews, Tim Bergling spoke at length regarding the “toxic” culture surrounding EDM.
Tm said he drank frequently and way too much; it became a crutch of sorts for self-confidence. In his words, he was an introverted person by nature, so drinking became a means of opening himself up.
Over time, he had to learn to stop drinking. He told the publication that he felt happy for himself because he was now spending time on his health and himself.
