Pete Davidson allegedly angered Ariana Grande when he joked about their failed engagement. As it turns out, he wasn't just referencing the pop singer.

In the newly released promotional video for "Saturday Night Live," the comedian jokingly asked the musical guest to get married.

Maggie Roger responded with a sharp "no" which Pete followed with: "0 for 3."

With Maggie being the most recent and Ariana being the last -- who is the third person Pete wanted to marry?

It was apparently his ex-girlfriend, Cazzie David.

The 24-year-old and Larry David's daughter dated for two years and had only split for around two weeks before Davidson started his relationship with Ariana.

TMZ reported that while they were dating, Pete asked her for her hand in marriage. David allegedly declined the offer.

The "SNL" comedian always spoke highly of the legendary comic's daughter.

"She's the most beautiful girl in the world, look how lucky I am. She's so smart, look how smart she is," he pointed out during a red carpet appearance.

During multiple interviews, the "Set It Up" actor revealed that she stuck by his side when he was diagnosed with mental illness and was struggling with sobriety.

"I'm very lucky. She's very, very supportive. I felt like, if I just kept it to myself nobody would know, but if everybody knows, then you kinda have to keep yourself in check so you don't let anybody down. So I thought that was a good idea to do."

In May, Pete did an interview with Paul Rosenberg confirming that they had split.

"We're not together anymore. She's a very talented girl. She'll do great, she'll be fine."

Not long after was he spotted canoodling with Ariana Grande.

Do you think that Pete Davidson is unlucky in love because of his need to propose? Do you think he should change his ways?
