On the 5th of September, paparazzi spotted the actor, Ben Affleck, following his re-entry into rehabilitation for alcohol addiction. According to a source, “Ben is allowed to leave the clinic once a day for a few hours, but he can’t be gone long. It’s mostly for working out, and that’s about it.”
However, the source added, Ben is only allowed to leave when he’s with a coach and a therapist. As it was previously reported, Ben had to go to rehab after his wife, Jennifer Garner, and his sober living coach staged an intervention.
And this isn’t the first time either, as the actor had to visit a clinic in 2001 and again in 2017, a whopping 16 years later. Alcoholism supposedly runs in Ben’s family.
An insider remarked, “It got to a point where it was obvious to everyone around him that he needed help, and he knew that as well. Ben has quite a bit of self-awareness, and he’s not shy about asking for help when he needs it.”
For Jennifer, she’s more than willing to do what she has to for the sake of their three children together, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, who are 12, 9 and, 6 respectively.
#TripleFrontier is officially wrapped. It still hits me how fortunate I am to get to do this, and it never gets old. So grateful for every opportunity I get, the people I get to work with, and witnessing beauty in all sorts of surprising places. Here are some shots from our last day at Base Camp with director J.C. Chandor.
“Jennifer is a fantastic mother, and she understands the importance of having a solid father figure in the home. She is going to keep fighting for Ben no matter what.”
“It’s all about their children, and it always will be. It’s as simple as that.” As fans of the couple know, Ben and Garner split in 2015 after being married for ten years.
Previously, Ben was caught hanging out with a much younger woman, Shauna Sexton, 22, following his breakup with the Saturday Night Live writer, Lindsay Shookus. Shookus subsequently deleted her social media because of all of the people sending her messages about Ben’s alleged philandering.
