Pamela Anderson Says 'Love Is A Risk' After Jon Peters Separation
As the world knows, Pamela Anderson shocked the world when it was revealed that she and Jon Peters, the film producer, got married suddenly after spending years apart from each other. Additionally, the shock came twice when it was announced they were already calling it off just 12 days after the ceremony went down.
According to Us Magazine, Pamela took to her Instagram on Sunday, the 2nd of February, to reveal her thoughts on her lost love. The 52-year-old actress wrote in a caption, "Love is a risk," underneath the photo picturing the Baywatch alum wearing a black dress.
Anderson continued in the same vein, referencing the supposed Albert Einstein quote that crazy people engage in the same behavior over and over again and expect a different result. As fans of the ex-Playboy model know, she's been married four other times in the past.
It was on the 1st of February when Anderson announced she and the 74-year-old were splitting after just 12 days together. They got married in a private Malibu ceremony on the 20th of January. Anderson has two children, Dylan Lee and Thomas Lee, both with Tommy Lee, the drummer of Motley Crue.
A source who spoke with the outlet claimed, however, that Peters and Pamela never actually got their hands on a marriage license, so separating won't be difficult. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday, the star said she and Jon decided not to obtain an official marriage license.
Furthermore, Peters later said to THR just a day after they symbolically tied the knot that he had his eye on Pamela her entire life, including when he and the actress first met back in the 1980s at the Playboy Mansion. Fans of Anderson know they actually dated for quite some time.
Following the news of their wedding, Jon praised Pamela by arguing that she had never been given an opportunity to really blossom as an artist. He added that there were beautiful women all over the world for him to pick, but he chose her for a special reason.
Reportedly, Jon helped kick off Pamela's career by paying for many of her lessons in the entertainment industry, including acting, voice, and dance lessons. She later landed a role on Home Improvement and Baywatch.
