Ellen DeGeneres may have exposed one of Sean “P. Diddy” Comb’s worst fears. During a new episode of her show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen said she heard a rumor about the music mogul. Right away, Ellen peaked Sean’s interest.
Ellen asked Diddy if the rumors were true that he is terrified of clowns. In response, the Ciroc owner stated he wasn’t afraid of clowns, because, “as a black man,” he has far more things to worry about.
What people didn’t notice right away, was when P. Diddy moved his glass of water off of the table, and DeGeneres had to quickly move it for a reason we’ll explore shortly.
After P. Diddy, 48, stated that he didn’t fear clowns, lo-and-behold, a man in a clown costume appeared out of the table that the music mogul put his drink on.
Immediately, P. Diddy freaked out and ran away, pretending to dance it off, like he was a part of the gag. The crowd roared laughing, as did Ellen, who clearly enjoyed seeing Diddy being tested. Ellen told him it was extremely “gratifying.”
The clown was, admittedly, quite terrifying as well, wearing a mane of red hair, red pom poms, a big collar, and horrifying teeth. He jumped out of the box and it scared people in the audience too.
It was a wish come true for the legendary music producer. Combs claims he woke up that very morning and told himself, “I want my life to be full of surprises,” and that’s exactly what he got on account of the talk show host.
Combs joked that she really affected his credit on the street with that prank. All jokes aside, Sean had a great announcement to make about his latest philanthropic endeavor. Previously, Combs announced he was pledging $1 million to Capital Preparatory Schools, which helps schools in the Bronx.
While on the show, Sean said that the curriculum of the school revolves around social justice, leadership, as well as coding. To help him out, DeGeneres then gave the rapper and producer a check for $50,000.
