Ouch! Scheana Marie’s Ex Rob Valletta Slams The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast And Their Claim To Fame

Rob Valletta was a big part of Vanderpump Rules last season, but it wasn’t because he was always on camera. It was mostly because his now-ex-girlfriend Scheana Marie brought him up in conversation every chance she got. Valletta and Marie broke up as soon as filming ended for season six, and they blamed their split on the show’s drama. Valletta claims to be anti-VPR, but he doesn’t seem to have a problem with riding the show’s coattails and talking about it nonstop.
Valletta recently sat down for an interview with the Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald, and he said that the VPR cast was great outside of the show, but as soon as the cameras start to roll, it’s a different world. Because it is their job and that’s how they make their money, Valletta says the cast is willing to say whatever or do whatever and that makes the show good.

However, the 37-year-old admits that he was hesitant to be on the show this season and felt forced to be on it.
“The thing I didn’t really like about the situation and why I was incredibly hesitant to do it is because it was worded to me a very certain way that if I didn’t do it this would make Scheana look really bad to the network. And it could jeopardize her job. It wasn’t said as clear as that, but it was definitely presented to me in that way. At the end of the day, you have to protect your girlfriend. If her whole life is being shown on camera, I’ll take the leap of faith,” said Valletta.
However, now that he has had the chance to look back at the experience, Valletta says that he is surprised by some of the things he said, and he was stubborn because he didn’t want to “give them anything.” He explained that you are dealing with things for weeks, and he just started pushing back. This is why he told Jax Taylor that he never told Marie he loved her, even though he had.
Valletta agrees with fans that this season was not a flattering one for his ex-girlfriend, and he felt bad for her because they made her look bad. He says that she did go overboard on protecting him, but he respects her for having his back.
But then, Valletta declared that the Vanderpump Rules cast is not famous, they are just popular. And, he added that they are like the high school quarterback who everyone knows, but never makes it to the pros.

Valletta didn’t show up for the reunion episodes this season, but that’s because producers didn’t invite him. He said that they know he would defend Marie, and the cast wouldn’t attack him because he didn’t do anything wrong. But, they know that they can attack her when he isn’t there.
As for Marie, she admits that she may have been a little obsessed with Valletta and her relationship with him, and when she looks back on it, she looks like an idiot.
On the Vanderpump Rules After Show, one of the SURvers said that Marie is a queen, and Valletta is just a peasant boy who visits the castle.
Season seven of Vanderpump Rules will premiere later this year on Bravo.
