Talk about strong feelings. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Taylor Armstrong’s 12-year-old daughter, Kennedy, apparently wants nothing to do with her late father, Russell Armstrong, despite her mother’s efforts to keep his memory alive and well.
The former RHOBH star opened up about her daughter’s feelings towards her late husband during a recent episode of Laura Wasser’s podcast, Divorce Sucks!
Taylor, who appeared as a full-time cast member on RHOBH for the first three seasons, revealed that her psychiatrist advised her to mention Russell to her daughter so that she doesn’t forget him.
“I was saying, ‘Do you miss daddy?’ And she said, ‘No. N-O,’” Taylor shared.
According to The Blast, Taylor noted that Kennedy wants nothing to do with her late father because of the way he treated her mother. Kennedy asked Taylor why she wants to remember a person who always screamed at her, which is a pretty valid point.
As fans might recall, Russell took his own life shortly after he split from Taylor. The reality star discovered his body at a separated residence. Kennedy was actually with Taylor when the incident happened, though the young girl was luckily in the car when it all went down.
Prior to his death, Taylor accused Russell of physically abusing her. In her recent interview, Taylor stuck by her original accusations and admitted that people did not believe her story because she came out of an affluent neighborhood. But at the end of the day, Taylor wants people to know that abuse happens everywhere, regardless of socioeconomic factors.

While Kennedy clearly wants nothing to do with her late father, she is getting along great with her stepdad, John Bluher. Taylor Armstrong tied the knot with Bluher back in 2014 and the two could not be happier with how things are going.
Taylor does not plan on returning to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills anytime soon.
