As fans know, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are expecting a baby girl and the actor revealed that he is looking forward to welcoming the bundle of joy! This will be their first child together and first daughter for the future dad of two.

Orlando gave an interview for Good Morning America during which he told the world just how excited he really is to be a girl dad and spend time with the newborn!

‘It's a magical time when an angel pops onto the planet, which is what it feels like for me...you know all those quiet times at home with just you and your family and a little one and nursing and sort of being present and seeing where you can also help and what you can do to nurture the little life into the world,’ he went on to say during the interview.

Of course, most parents are well aware that having a newborn is hard due to the lack of sleep and more and while Orlando knows this as well, he still sees the silver lining.

According to the Pirates of the Caribbean star, ‘I'm really looking forward to those late nights where I will probably be getting up and doing a breastfeed-bottle thing because I will not be obviously breastfeeding, but I am sure there will be bottles...I am looking forward to that because I love the quiet times at night when the world feels like it is asleep and you have a sleeping baby.’

Bloom is already experienced as a parent since he shares a 9 year old son named Flynn with his former wife, model Miranda Kerr.

Speaking of the boy, Katy Perry previously shared on Mix 104.1's Karson and Kennedy not too long ago that ‘I think he is really excited for the little girl...They say girls are daddy's little girl. That is how it is going to be. We'll see.’
