Mental health is one of those issues which are surrounded by misinformation, stigmatization, and shame, leading to the lonesome struggle of many and the ignorance of the general public. In the last couple of years, people are starting to get used to the idea of talking openly about their mental health problems, with Bow Wow being one of them.
It’s worth mentioning that in the Black community, individuals are even less probable to reveal what’s been bothering them. It took courage to do what he did because, on Instagram, the rapper stated he had struggled with anxiety in the past.
However, admittedly, Bow Wow has a history of making salacious claims for the sake of getting attention, so not a lot of people seemed to care, but when Lil’ Duval bashed the rapper, many people came out in his defense.
The rapper admitted there are times when, despite his life going relatively right with everything falling in line with his plans, sometimes he feels as if he was better off not to exist at all.
Duval took to Instagram to tell him that he should keep those thoughts to himself and not share the feelings with anyone else. He added, “It’s f*cking with these kid’s heads.”
that shit Lil Duval said about Bow Wow was lame. We all know Bow Wow is lame but he’s still a human with feelings… this is why the black community feel as though they cant express themselves…especially black men…because of Duvals funny lookin ass

However, social media users had Bow Wow’s back, with multiple individuals accusing Duval of trying to shame Bow Wow into silence.
It couldn’t come at a worse time, considering – as it was noted at the beginning of the article – mental health issues are the topic du jour. Either way, it appears as though Duval missed that memo, and many Twitter users let him have it.
One person wrote, “I’m not sure how Duval is even famous, he’s always so negative and never has anything nice to say. We all know how lame Bow Wow is, but if he’s struggling with something, he should have an open forum to discuss the problems.”
Another Twitter user claimed, “who cares what Duval thinks? He’s always bitter. How dare he shame people who struggle with mental health issues?”
