Not Everyone Believes Kanye West Should Be President - Tyson Beckford Is One Of Them
Earlier this week, Kanye West came out to say that he was going to run for the presidency once again. His post came at a time amid relative social media obscurity, considering the rapper hasn't been active on his accounts as much as he used to be.
He did pop up here in there amid the Black Lives Matter protests, with many reports indicating that he was out in the streets of Chicago among other demonstrators. But Kanye sparked headlines once again when he randomly said he was going to campaign.
Not everyone supports the idea, including Jamie Foxx, who reportedly referred to Kanye as a "clown," and insinuated that no one had time for his shenanigans anymore.
According to Forbes Magazine, Kanye West wants to run as a Republican if Trump steps down, or perhaps independently if he can't get in. However, one thing is clear, and that is the rapper's hatred for the Democratic party.
During a recent interview, Kanye said he was "pro-life" because he's following what the Bible has taught. He claimed that Planned Parenthood and other institutions were a "vehicle of White supremacy" created for the sole purpose of killing black babies.
Nia Martin-Robinson, one of the directors for Planned Parenthood, took Kanye to task in a statement to the entertainment news outlet, TMZ. Nia accused Kanye of misunderstanding the point of the organization, claiming that black women had the right to make decisions about their bodies.
As it was noted above, not everyone is fond of the idea of Kanye West sitting in the Oval Office, including the model, Tyson Beckford, who poked fun at the idea.
The 49-year-old, during a conversation with Us Magazine on the 6th of July, claimed he always gets in trouble in situations such as these because he speaks the truth.
Beckford explained that he and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have done a lot of great things for the world, however, he just wishes the celebrity duo would stay in their lane and continue doing what they do best. The model believes that running a country is a lot different from what they normally do.
