Going back to 2002, you would think that getting the Best Actress award at the Academy Awards event would be the best moment in her life, or at least in top 5. However, despite the fact that it was still an excellent professional mark, the actress declared that the period was one of the lowest ever from a personal point of view.
The actress from The Hours said that despite being her most glorious moment, she felt terribly lonely and only wanted to have somebody to share her feelings with. She gave more details at a Q&A session held at the BFI London Film Festival. From her we found out that the Oscar in her life was indeed a turning point. While it was validating her as an actress, it also stood as a symbol for her loneliness.
The great news for career came at the time shortly after she went through a highly controversial divorce from actor Tom Cruise. They had married back in 1990 and they had a shocking break up in 2001. Their fans were really surprised by this change in their lives.

After Tom Cruise, Kidman (now 49), had a relationship with Lenny Kravitz. After that, she seems to have found the love of her life, Keith Urban, whom she married in 2006.
