Baby Cardi B got some love from Nicki Minaj while attending the 2018 Met Gala, and now maybe fans of the divas can finally agree that there is no beef.
Cardi B, who is about six months pregnant, looked like a queen while entering the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in a cream Moschino outfit that featured a stunning crown.
As for Nicki, she opted for a black and red Oscar de la Renta dress that revealed a lot of cleavage.
The 35-year-old Young Money rapper completed the look with a headpiece/necklace that featured tiny crosses.
While on the red carpet, Nicki delighted her fans by dropping some huge news about her upcoming fourth studio album.
The project will be titled Queen and will be released on June 15. At the event, Nicki and Cardi posed for several pictures.
In one photo, Nicki is reaching to touch Cardi B’s baby bump. While in another, the femcees seem to be complimenting each other.
In a recent interview, Nicki explained that she was hurt by Cardi B.
She confessed: “The only thing that Cardi really, really, really hurt my feelings was the first interview she did after ‘Motorsport,’I remember when I first came in the game, if a female of that stature had done a feature with me on it, I would only be singing their praises and saying, ‘Thank you.’”
One fan said: “Nicki’s album about to shake the world. I know it is gooooood. TBH I cannot wait to see how everyone goes crazy and records she gonna break. But still like I said… Some people never liked Nicki either & Cardi came alone, so they like her more.”
Another commenter stated: “From those of us who’s brain is actually capable of liking both at the same time … we are here for this. See? There’s room for more than one maybe because Nicki is reaching for her belly, hands off baby Bardi please and thank you.”
A third supporter wrote: “Yassssss finally this all we wanted. See they get along great … A Queen & A Queen in training to be. Stop comparing them and saying they got beef cuz it is not true, and it is a nun to compare. They both could’ve come out and said there really wasn’t a beef and that their subliminal wasn’t about each other…social media may have fueled it, but they definitely could’ve put the fire out. Both of my sisters coming through! There no beef.”
Will Remy Ma be next? Is it possible for all three to make peace while dropping great music?
