This is such sad news! Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter revealed that his wife has lost the baby they were expecting.
The singer took to Twitter to tell his followers about the tragic miscarriage yesterday and mourned the loss of his and Lauren Kitt’s unborn child – a baby girl.
This would have been their second addition to the family as they are already the parents of a son born in 2016.
‘God give us peace during this time. I was really looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. I’m heartbroken. It was a little sister for Odin,’ Nick tweeted.
The pair welcomed Odin after a difficult 30 hours long at-home labor, so his wife does not have the smoothest of pregnancies and births, unfortunately.
Back in 2016, before having their son, the longtime couple had an epic Game of Thrones-themed baby shower.
After he announced the sad miscarriage, the singer nearly canceled his solo show in Barranco Arena in Lima, Peru out of grief.
‘I don’t think I can perform tonight. I’m sorry Lima,’ he tweeted.
He then added in another tweet that: ‘This will be hard, but for the love of my fans here in Lima I’ll be on the stage tonight.’
It must have been really hard on him to have to climb on stage and be all high energy for the fans with the tragedy on his mind.
Of course, Lauren must be feeling ten times worse.
The two got married back in 2014, and at least they have each other and cute little Odin to comfort them through this dark time.
