The Season 11 premiere of Real Housewives of Atlanta is just a few days away, and star NeNe Leakes recently gave fans on Twitter some juicy teases about what they can expect to see in the new episodes. Yes, there will be drama – plus a whole lot of fun – but the season will be different than what fans have seen in the past.
“We have an amazing season! A different type of season, I would say. But personally, I think it’s one of the best! You[‘re] in for a surprise,” Leakes wrote.
When a fan asked what Leakes’ favorite part of Season 11 was, she said that it was one of the trips the women took, and fans were going to love watching it. She also made a point of saying that RHOA newbies Shamari DeVoe (wife of Ronnie Devoe from New Edition and Bell Biv Devoe) and Eva Marcille are refreshing additions to the cast.
According to Bravo’s Daily Dish, the upcoming season will be a pivotal one. Porsha Williams is preparing for life as a mom, Marcille just married Michael Sterling and is living life as a newlywed. And, Leakes is dealing with her husband Gregg’s cancer diagnosis.
There are also big changes happening for Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss, so fans will have plenty to watch and talk about this season. However, one person that isn’t there is Kenya Moore.
Producers fired Moore over the summer after she decided to keep Bravo cameras (and the RHOA cast) away from her beach wedding to Marc Daly. And then, Daly rarely made appearances on the show. Moore is also pregnant with her first child, but that storyline wasn’t enough for Bravo producers to keep her for Season 11.
Leakes actually sent Moore some well wishes on Instagram during her baby shower and complimented both her and her husband. But, that doesn’t mean the two women are on good terms. During a question and answer session with fans, Leakes said that there is no one she would bring back on the show, and she has no reason to be jealous of Moore.
She said that she has her own husband, kids, cars, jobs, and house, so there is nothing Moore has for her to be jealous of. NeNe Leakes added that she isn’t the one to blame for someone wanting to be on a reality show, but not showing their reality.
Season 11 of Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres November 4th on Bravo.
