Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is feuding with her castmates, and Bravo is making sure she keeps ups the drama by giving her a huge paycheck for Season 12. A new report claims that Leakes will earn a whopping $2.85 million next season to encourage her to keep up the nasty attitude that has lost her friends and fans.
During Season 11 of RHOA, Leakes showed fans how to play the victim, and she was able to make the entire season about her. If reports of the raise are true (Bravo hasn’t confirmed the salary increase) the RHOA OG will be one of the highest-paid housewives on Bravo, and it’s all because she has taken the villain role to a whole new level.
#RHOA EXCLUSIVE: It's no joke! Stumbling, disorientated and off her game, NeNe Leakes shocks fans as she appeared 'embarrassingly drunk' while hosting her Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour https://t.co/man1Xxy3Yc pic.twitter.com/ggyLrGNN99

According to Radar Online, Bravo is dishing out more for Leakes than they are for Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel, Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson, and Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The money comes after Leakes managed to make Eva Marcille’s wedding all about her, and after treating her husband Gregg like an annoyance after his cancer diagnosis. Then there was the temper tantrum she threw at Cynthia Bailey’s party when Kenya Moore showed up, the fat-shaming of new mom Porsha Williams, and the fact that she injured a Bravo cameraman when he went into her closet.
There is no doubt that if Leakes got a raise and is making more money than everyone else in the Housewives franchise, she will not be shy about letting everyone know about it.
In addition to Leakes, Williams, Marcille, and Kandi Burruss have all signed on for Season 12, and Bravo cameras are reportedly scrambling to capture all of the drama that Leakes is bringing after deciding that everyone in the cast is her enemy.

An insider says that RHOA producers want to start filming immediately “so they can capture the ongoing drama between Porsha and NeNe, as well as the drama between NeNe and Cynthia.”
“Producers were supposed to start filming in June. But, they are trying to get everything in place to begin earlier if possible,” says the insider.
Season 12 of Real Housewives of Atlanta will premiere on Bravo later this year.
