According to sources, Naya Rivera was drinking and out of control on the night of her arrest according to a 9-1-1 call placed by her husband, Ryan Dorsey. On Saturday night, the 34-year-old actor called the police because of Rivera’s erratic and violent behavior.
In the recording obtained by TMZ, Dorsey can be heard saying, “I just need a police officer.” He said Rivera was “getting physical,” but no weapons were at the scene.
Dorsey’s father was also there at the time of the arrest, but she was not acting violently toward him. An officer said in the audio, “Caller’s saying the wife is causing problems in residence, has been drinking.”

A spokesperson for the County Sheriff’s Office of Kanawha did not confirm if Rivera was intoxicated at the time. But, it appeared to be that way when the police officer arrived.
A representative for Rivera hasn’t responded on her behalf yet. On Tuesday, Dorsey wrote on Twitter for his fans as well as the media to please respect their privacy, because their life “isn’t a reality TV show.”
People Magazine confirmed that the former star of Glee was hit with misdemeanor charges of domestic battery after she struck her husband in the face and head while taking their two-year-old son out for a walk.
A police officer who arrived at the scene at 9:33 pm confirmed that Dorsey claimed his wife hit him twice.
Furthermore, Dorsey provided a cell phone video of Naya hitting him. Following the confirmation of the assault, the police officer charged her with domestic battery.
The pair was arguing over their child. Celebrity Insider reported earlier that the rapper and ex-boyfriend of Naya uploaded a meme on his Twitter feed of a young girl saying, “I told you so!” It appears as though Big Sean may be insinuating Naya’s behavior is a regular occurrence.
