Miranda Vee wrote on her Instagram today that the father of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Mohamed Hadid, is guilty of raping her. Miranda took to Instagram yesterday on the 1st of February to accuse him of sexually assaulting her.
In her post, she thanked Kate Upton for her recent coming-out-story about Paul Marciano, the CCO, and co-founder of Guess. The 23-year-old model said she had met up with Paul one day where he sexually harassed her and “passed her on to” Mohamed.
Miranda claims it was just her and Mohamed over a glass of champagne and he “date raped” her at an unspecified location. She said it was merely for a photo shoot with Guess.
Additionally, the 23-year-old stated they found out about it and made her sign a non-disclosure agreement and she only agreed because Paul threatened to ruin her career if she didn’t sign it.
She rhetorically asked, “#TIMESUP, Why should we have to stay quiet because they have the power?”
Celebrity Insider reported yesterday that the 25-year-old model, Kate Upton, accused Marciano of a vague crime that she didn’t bother to explain.
The model, when speaking with reporters from TMZ on her way to her car, said she didn’t have the time to discuss it then, but would so in the future.
On Thursday, the wealthy real estate developer, Hadid, was approached by the publication, TMZ, where he stated that when they met “it was not a date,” and “not once did I touch her.”
As you may know, this is just one of many cases to come out in the last six months following the infamous incident involving Harvey Weinstein. The New York Times and The New Yorker were the first organizations to break the story, followed by the Los Angeles Times and The Hollywood Reporter.
