NBC has released the very first trailer for the upcoming musical TV show ‘Rise!’ The brand new drama is set to premiere in March of 2018 and was created by two very talented producers – the one who gave us Hamilton and the one responsible for NBC dramas such as Friday Night Lights and Parenthood.
That being said, despite the fact that the show may be compared a lot with Glee, judging by the trailer, it is safe to say that darker real-life elements similar to the ones in the two aforementioned NBC shows mentioned above are bound to be a big part of Rise.

Rise is also set to star none other than Rosie Perez as well as the voice behind the Disney character Moana from the animated movie with the same name – 17-year-old newcomer Auli’I Cravalho.
