After cheating on his wife and leaving her for Miranda Lambert, Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker’s divorce from Staci Nelson is final, and multiple sources arereporting that he is getting their Oklahoma home in the settlement. A judge finalized the divorce on August 16th, and insiders say that Nelson “felt free” when it became official.
However, some people close to the former couple think that Felker getting the family home isn’t fair, and one friend says that it was Nelson who was the breadwinner in the family because she works as a senior manager at Ernst & Young in Oklahoma City.
“Staci is strong mentally and physically,” said the friend. “She’s a classy broad.”

Felker is the lead singer of the Turnpike Troubadours, and his band started opening for Lambert back in January. And, that is when their affair began, even though he was married to Nelson, and she was still dating Anderson East.
Nelson moved out of the house she used to share with Felker on August 15th, and on that day, she posted an Instagram story from her “favorite spot” in the home while saying it was “really hard to say goodbye to it.”
But now that the divorce is final, a source says that Nelson is ready to move on and “pretty much over it.” She also “feels free and relieved” about the end of the marriage and is ready to put this all behind her.
Last month, Felker joined Lambert on her latest tour, and cameras caught them together in public for the first time while they were out for a date night in New York City, holding hands and enjoying a show at the Jones Beach Theater.
At the same time, Nelson announced that she was ready to start over.
“Said what I needed to say to those I needed to see it and archived the last post, because it doesn’t make me happy or serve me any longer. #moving forward #selfcare #smilingagain #ranchy,” Nelson wrote on Instagram.
After Felker started dating Lambert earlier this year, Nelson says he ghosted her. And then, he blindsided her with a divorce filing in February that she found out about by reading the local paper.
Neither Evan Felker or Miranda Lambert have spoken publicly about their relationship. But Lambert has said in interviews that she says what she needs to say through her music.
