Reports have indicated the Shawn Mendes and Miley Cyrus are now putting the last touches of their magic on their latest track together. TMZ reported that the dynamic duo have a song coming in the next few weeks and it'll likely end up on Miley's new record.
According to the outlet, it's the first time they've collaborated together for any kind of project. On Tuesday night, Shawn and Miley's fans connected the dots that something was going on when Miley posted an image in which she was rehearsing for the Grammy Awards coming up next week.
Cyrus was acting like herself in front of a slew of amplifiers and guitars, and a few social media users noticed Shawn's guitar in the background. Additionally, his name was reportedly seen by fans on one of the pieces of gear.
Mendes just had a big year in 2018, and Miley is also supposed to be coming out with a new record of her own. The idea of the two singers collaborating has been the focus of many of their fans.
It was reported earlier that a few artists would perform at this year's Grammy Awards, including the legendary rock band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, and Miley Cyrus.
Unfortunately, this comes after one of the Grammy nominees who was slated to win a few awards, 21 Savage, was taken into federal custody by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency. Reports have indicated that Mr. Savage is actually a British citizen who immigrated to the United States in the mid-2000s.
Putting that all aside, fans been eagerly awaiting Miley's performance at the Grammys this year. And this all comes after her marriage with Hollywood actor, Liam Hemsworth.
In a previous interview, Miley admitted she and Liam had decided to get married right after their house burned down in the California wildfires that swept through not only the wealthy areas but also the lower income neighborhoods. Miley said the fire definitely played a role in their decision to finally get hitched.
