The singer and wife Luisana Lopilato went through a ’rollercoaster’ of emotions. Michael Buble was in attendance at the Juno Awards in Vancouver, Canada, yesterday and while there, he opened up about the scary experience of having his four-year-old battling cancer.
Their oldest son, Noah, who is now 4, was diagnosed with the disease back in November of 2016.
It is safe to say the star has a newfound appreciation for life.
‘I think life teaches you these hard lessons sometimes. Part of that lesson’s that it allowed me to really have perspective, and to enjoy more than I ever have in my life. I enjoy the small things,’ Buble, who has put his career on hold ever since the diagnosis, revealed.
As fans know, he and Lopilato are the parents of another boy as well, 2-year-old Elias and they are currently expecting their third addition to the family.
While at the Juno Awards, Lopilato showed off her lovely baby bump while posing on the red carpet.
Previously, a source revealed Noah was doing really well and that the entire family is in a better place following the ‘tense time’ after his scary diagnosis.
‘This time last year, the holidays were a tense time for the Buble family. When Noah got the cancer diagnosis, Michael made the decision to step away from his work immediately. It was a truly scary time for everyone,’ the insider shared in December of last year.
The source went on to say that Noah is ‘an energetic little boy!’ and that ‘Events like this put everything in perspective…There is no doubt Christmas will be extra special at the Buble household this year.’
We’re very glad little Noah is doing so well!
