Meri, Kody Brown’s very first wife who he has actually divorced in order to legally marry his fourth wife, was really emotional during the Sister Wives Tell All special finale. Apparently, the woman broke down in tears on camera while they were all talking about their troubles. The episode is set to air tomorrow!
Last week, Kody made it as clear as possible that he no longer wants to be intimate with Meri.
In a sneak peek, the man and his four ‘wives,’ Meri, Robyn, Christine, and Janelle are shown talking about the complicated relationship.
Robyn said that Kody and Meri’s situation really ‘sucks, the whole thing sucks, sorry. It is not fun, and it is hard to know what to do with it. I mean, we love Meri, we love Kody. We have to be Switzerland constantly, and we hate to see him in this place, and it is stressful for our family.’
‘It’s sad, you see two broken hearts, and there is really not — we do not know what to do to fix it otherwise just support and just be there. But there are broken hearts on both sides,’ Christine added.
Janelle said that in their unconventional family ‘you just do not live in a vacuum. One relationship affects the others 100 percent. I mean, you feel it when things are out of joint.’
As Meri listened to what the other three wives had to say about the place she and Kody are at, she started to cry.
‘Does anyone here ever think maybe it is just not meant to be? Is that ever a thought?’ the interviewer wondered.
‘No one thinks that. None of us think that it isn’t supposed to happen or get better. We do not know what it looks like in the end, but none of us think that,’ Christine replied.
Kody however, explained that ‘Nobody here is taking sides. I do not even like using the word hope, but we’re actually healing. And we dug this hole for 25 years. It is not something we are going to fix with a weekend getaway.’
Meri whipped her tears and said: ‘Part of me says, yeah, it’s hard. But then part of me is like, oh, I just want to lay it out all on the table … but that is not healthy either.’
Do you think they really are over for good?
