More troubled was reported for actress Heather Locklear over the weekend, as she found herself under arrest for suspicion of domestic violence and battery on a police officer. It’s only the latest in a string of recent incidents for the former Melrose Place star.
Police apparently received a domestic violence call at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday night, leading officers to arrive at Locklear’s residence in Thousand Oaks, California.
The 911 tape of the domestic violence call reveals the call was placed by Locklear’s brother, who reportedly saw the actress fighting with her boyfriend.
In the process of being arrested, Locklear then attacked a police officer, which led to three charges of misdemeanor battery on an officer.

At 10:27 p.m., Locklear was arrested and taken to the Ventura County Jail where she remained overnight, before posting bail and finding herself released at 5:48 a.m.
In September 2017, there were reports that Locklear had been fighting with her boyfriend while driving, causing her to crash her Porsche.
When she sought medical treatment for a resulting injury to her arm, Locklear then allegedly attack a nurse who was trying to assist her.
In 2010, Locklear was arrested for a misdemeanor hit-and-run after hitting a “No Parking” sign on a public street with her car.
Before that, the actress was arrested in 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence but that case was ultimately dismissed in January 2009.
Going back even farther, it’s also been reported that police responded to a call at the home of Locklear’s former boyfriend in 2001 when the two began physically fighting, but no charges were filed.
The 56-year-old actress first came into the public eye in a co-starring role on Dynasty from 1981-1986, as well as a co-starring role on T.J. Hooker from 1982-1986.
In recent years, she’s made appearances on shows like Too Close to Home and Fresh Off the Boat.
