The First Lady went against her husband once again? During an interview while in Egypt, FLOTUS Melania Trump made it very clear that sexual assault victims have her unwavering support while talking about the Brett Kavanaugh scandal.
Unfortunately, however, as Donald Trump has been slamming Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, one of the alleged victims of the Supreme Court nominee, Melania showed support for victims in general and made a few comments on Kavanaugh but refused to share if she thinks he’s guilty or not.
‘I would say if we’re talking about the Supreme Court and Judge Kavanaugh, I think he’s highly qualified for the Supreme Court. I’m glad Dr. Ford was heard, I am glad that Judge Kavanaugh was heard. The FBI investigation was done, and Senate voted,’ she replied.
To the question of whether or not he is guilty as accused, the first lady avoided to respond and instead, her answer focused on getting help to abuse victims in general.
‘I will move on that and I think all the victims they need — we need to help all victims no matter what kind of abuse they went through, but I am against any kind of abuse or violence.’

Meanwhile, a few days prior, Donald Trump mocked Dr. Ford’s heartbreaking testimony.
He not only defended Kavanaugh but also pointed out that while the accuser had a lot of things she did not remember, she did know she had ‘one beer’ that night.
Trump also said she and Democrats are ‘evil’ people trying to destroy Kavanaugh’s life and career.
Melania did go against her husband about something, however.
She made it clear that as far as his controversial tweets are concerned, ‘I don’t always agree what he tweets and I tell always him that. I give my honest opinion and advice and sometimes he listens to me and sometimes he does not, but I have my own voice and my own opinions and it is very important for me to express what I feel.’
