Megyn Kelly cannot wait to settle things with her former employer. The TV host is currently in talks for a multi-million exit deal with NBC, but she wants to settle ASAP so that she can get back to work for another network.
NBC has reportedly offered to pay what remains on Kelly’s contract, which amounts to well over $30 million. The only catch is that the network wants Kelly to sign a confidentiality agreement to prevent her from bad-mouthing them. If Kelly agrees to the terms, she could walk away with as much as $37 million.

“Everyone wants this to be over— both Megyn and NBC — and Comcast has the money to pay off Megyn,” a source explained.
NBC fired Kelly after she made comments defending the use of blackface on Halloween. Although the comments directly led to her exit, Kelly’s segment on Today suffered from low ratings.
Insiders also claim that Kelly did not get along with most her colleagues, and that it was only a matter of time before she left the show.
It is not clear if Kelly will find work after she settles with NBC. A source told Radar Online that several networks have contacted Kelly with offers, which is why she wants to settle the negotiations and move one.
One network that has reportedly reached out is Fox News, Kelly’s former employer. In fact, an insider says that Fox News would love to bring Kelly back, especially with the 2020 presidential elections on the horizon.
Kelly rose to fame as a Fox News anchor and helped moderate one of the presidential debates in 2016.

The former Today host has not commented on her multi-million dollar negotiations with NBC. Kelly has not appeared in front of the cameras since her departure from the show in October.
Sources claim that Megyn Kelly will reach an agreement with NBC soon. Exactly when she gets back to work, of course, is anyone’s guess.
