Megyn Kelly And NBC News Agreed To Her Exit Terms - She Can Leave The Company With A $30 Million Payout - People Want Her Back To Fox News
Back in December 2018, it was reported that Megyn Kelly was waiting to settle things with her former employer. She was in talks for a multi-million exit deal with NBC, but she wanted to settle things ASAP so that she could get back to work for another network.
Now, according to the latest reports Kelly and the NBC News have agreed that she leaves the company with the $30 million payout.
She's been negotiating this after her removal from NBC's morning show 'Today.'
Reports reveal that she will be leaving NBC with the remainder of her $69 million contract. NBC has just stated that she's no longer an employee of the network.
Fortune reminds readers that 'the former Fox News anchor was removed as the host of NBC’s morning fixture following a Halloween segment, when she questioned why using “blackface” for a costume was inappropriate. Kelly later apologized for the comments.'
Apart from this issue, Kelly is raising awareness on her Twitter on child abuse and human trafficking.
'Child abuse & human trafficking are problems that commonly overlap. 2,300 children were reported to the National Human Trafficking Hotline in 2016. It has to end.
