Lately, there have been rumors going around that Meghan McCain could leave The View. However, ABC denied the star is quitting the show in the near future.

The Daily Beast was the first to report that Meghan McCain’s The View future is uncertain.

One insider told the news outlet that the conservative has been ‘feeling like a caged animal’ after some stories about her leaked and put her in a bad light.

Now, another source tells HollywoodLife that ‘She is still deciding’ as to whether she will come back on the show or not.

For the time being, she is apparently ‘in negotiations to return.’

Late Senator John McCain’s daughter often gets into arguments with her left-wing co-host Joy Behar, causing her to get a lot of criticism from the viewers.

And that’s not all! Meghan is also caught in the middle of a string of Daily Mail reports that say her colleagues don’t like her, that she is ‘manic,’ has crying fits and basically, acts like a ‘petulant child.‘

These details come from an unnamed source on the show and now, The Beast reports Meghan is deeply affected by the reports about her.

‘It’s getting to the point where it’s not worth the emotional toll every week. If she doesn’t stay at The View, she will find other work.’

In the meantime, an ABC spokesperson denied via HollywoodLife the rumors that Meghan is leaving The View.

‘The co-hosts and The View have had an incredible season and we expect them all back for an epic year ahead.’

Meghan always gets a lot of hate online when getting into heated arguments with her liberal colleagues.

For instance, she defended the migrant detention centers not too long ago, slamming the label ‘torture facilities.’

‘Yes, it’s inhumane, but there is a big difference between the Hanoi Hilton and what’s happening at the border right now,’ she argued, referring to the centers being compared to her late dad’s experience being tortured while fighting in the Vietnam war.
