Meghan Markle's Mom Planning To Move With Her And Prince Harry To Windsor?
Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle soon be welcoming home more than just their bundle of joy? The couple, who married in May of this year and announced their pregnancy in October have plans to move into a larger home in the near future.
Rumors say that Meghan is hoping her mother, Doria Ragland, will be joining them.
Kensington Palace announced on Saturday, November 24th, that the couple would be moving from Nottingham Cottage in London to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, England.
A source reported, “Windsor is a very special place for their royal highnesses and they are grateful their official residence will be on the estate.” It holds even more significance as the couple had their engagement photo shoot nearby in December 2017 as well as their wedding reception in May.
Another source told Us Weekly that Harry and Meghan never truly loved living in London and that they enjoy their time in the country, feeling much more at home there than in the city.
The upgrade from city to country is significant in size as well. Their current residence has only two bedrooms, whereas Frogmore Cottage has 10 and sits within the extensive grounds of Windsor Castle, more than enough space for some new additions.
As for Doria, she hasn’t made any formal commitments at this time, but has stated that she plans on spending the majority of her time with Meghan and the baby . She is overjoyed by Meghan’s pregnancy and cannot wait to welcome her first grandchild.
A royal insider stated, “Of course Meghan wants her mom to move to the U.K.” As with most new mothers, Meghan would certainly relish in having her own mother close at hand for help and advice.
Regardless, it is said that Doria will likely be spending the holidays with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with other members of the royal family.
