Meghan Markle's Former Husband Trevor Engelson Created TV Show About Being Left For A Royal
Trevor Engelson – Meghan Markle’s former hubby – is apparently determined to use his life as an inspiration for a new project and the Suits actress is inevitably more included in the whole thing than she’d want. According to new reports, Fox has granted a pilot to a single-camera style comedy created by Danny Zuker, Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar, Dan Farah, Christine Gernon as well as Trevor Engelson – Markle’s ex-husband.
What is interesting about the show is that its logline sounds very familiar: ‘Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder. Sharing custody with the British Royal family in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media is next level.’
Despite the fact that in theory, the show is entirely fictional, there is no doubt that it has a seed of real events in it.
As you may be aware, Meghan Markle started going out with none other than Prince Harry following her divorce from Engelson.
Even though they don’t have children together, the story does share quite a few similarities to Engelson’s life.
In addition, one report claims that the idea of the show started from Engelson and Farah joking about what it would have looked like if he and Markle had children and needed to share their custody with the Royals.
They pitched the idea to studios soon after.
Meanwhile, Markle opened up about her romance with Prince Harry earlier in the month, saying that they are very happy together and that they are in love.
