In recent weeks, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made numerous headlines all over the world thanks to their first pregnancy announcement, their first royal trip abroad as a married couple, and their decision to move out of Kensington Palace. After all of that, you would think the newlyweds would want to slow things down a little bit, but a new report claims that Markle could soon return to acting.
Before she became the Duchess of Sussex, Markle starred on the USA legal drama Suits for seven seasons. And, her friend and agent Gina Nelthorpe-Crown says she is confident that Markle will return to acting despite being extremely busy living the royal life.

“I’m sure she’ll make a movie again, I really do think that,” said Nelthorpe-Crown at a recent event. “If Meghan wants to make a movie again, she will. She’s a determined woman, and she knows what she wants. She’s a woman of today, she’s got her will, and she’s a leader.”
Life & Style points out that only someone who knows Markle extremely well would dare to make such a bold statement. Especially since the idea of the Duchess of Sussex continuing her acting career doesn’t sit well with royal officials.
Nelthorpe-Crowne represented Markle until she left Suits late last year when she got engaged to Prince Harry. The two were so close that Nelthorpe-Crown was even there when Markle first met her husband. She has seen all of the highs and lows of Markle’s acting career, but Nelthorpe-Crowne says that she doesn’t think the Duchess will return to acting until after she starts her family.
The Hollywood agent says that she knows how much Markle wants to have kids, and she says her friend and former client will be a lovely mom because she is nurturing. But, no matter what, when Markle returns to acting, Nelthorpe-Crown is sure that the Duchess will be selective about the projects she chooses, and she will “definitely do something serious.”
Nelthorpe-Crown adds that Markle will not be the frivolous little girl she has been in the past, and she is a great actress.
My face when @piersmorgan said that Meghan Markle is a social climber who ghosted him. As I said – he is ridiculous and the narrative against her is sexist and racist !! https://t.co/r5jpDwyu4f pic.twitter.com/FcJ6k5vcNv

Markle’s desire to return to her acting career reminds many of Grace Kelly, who left her life as a Hollywood movie star when she married Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956 and became Princess Grace of Monaco.
Kelly eventually wanted to get back into acting, despite the disapproval of her husband and the people of Monaco.
As for Markle’s rumored feud with Kate Middleton, Kensington Palace recently issued a rare statement about an alleged argument between the sisters-in-law. After The Sun reported last weekend that the Duchess of Cambridge got upset with Meghan Markle because she was rude to Kate Middleton’s staff, a palace spokesman simply said, “This never happened.”
