In less than two months, all eyes will be on American actress Meghan Markle as she weds Prince Harry in one of the most-anticipated royal weddings in history. The Suits actress is the one who won the heart of the red-headed prince, but he does have a history of romancing Hollywood actresses. So, who did Harry have the hots for before Markle caught his eye?
In her new book Harry: Life, Loss, and Love, writer Katie Nicholl reveals that Harry once schmoozed with the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Cameron Diaz.
The tell-all about the 33-year-old Prince of Wales describes Harry as the fun and rambunctious son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, and while he was out partying one night in the West End nightclub Mahiki, Harry locked eyes with Johansson.

Nicholl says that Harry “really got on” with the Avengers star, and during another night out at Mahiki, he rubbed shoulders with Madonna. Apparently, the exclusive club is one of the few places where the prince feels at ease.
The author also revealed that Harry had a run-in at the gym with Diaz, and a source says the two were surprised to run into each other, and she was eager to meet up again.
The Charlie’s Angels actress was so interested in Harry that she asked for his number, but “Harry laughed it off, thinking she was joking.”
But, she wasn’t. Diaz was genuinely up for a drink, but nothing ever happened between them.
Nicholl also shared secrets about Harry’s on-again, off-again seven-year relationship with Zimbabwe native Chelsy Davy, writing that it was very serious.
But, even though she joined Harry at various royal events over the years, when she wasn’t around, Harry had a roving eye.
During one of their “off periods,” Harry reportedly hooked up with X Factor host Caroline Flack, but as soon as it went public, they called it quits. Flack says they had to stop seeing each other because “I was no longer Caroline Flack, TV presenter, I was Caroline Flack, Prince Harry’s bit of rough.”
Harry also had a relationship with British actress and model Cressida Bonas, but unlike Markle – who has given up her acting career for her new dignitary lifestyle – she wasn’t interested in trading her life as an actress for a future in the royal family.
Eventually, Bonas ended the relationship because she knew in her heart that it isn’t what she wanted.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will become husband and wife on May 19th at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
