According to reports, Meghan Markle isn’t pleased that her dog suffered two broken legs recently. In a statement from The Daily Mail today, the organization claimed her beagle, Guy, is currently in Surrey receiving the attention and care of the best veterinarians.
As for how the dog hurt itself, no one is exactly sure, but the newspaper first reported the incident back in November. Professor Noel Fitzpatrick – a reality star vet – is currently giving the dog treatment.
Noel has appeared on two shows, The Bionic Vet, and The Supervet. The 33-year-old prince, Harry, allegedly visited Markle and her dog and sources close to the royal family member say he is worried about Meghan, who is openly upset over the condition of her beloved pet.
An insider close to the actress stated, “Meghan was heartbroken over her dog. It’s so sad. Nobody likes to see their pet in pain; dogs are so innocent too, so it makes it so tragic. However, Guy is receiving help from some of the best professionals in the United Kingdom, so I’m sure it will turn out just fine.”
As you may know, the 36-year-old Suits alum, Markle, adopted her first pet, Bogart, after meeting up with Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi.
After Meghan decided to leave Bogart in Canada with some of her friends while she worked on her show, she adopted Guy and took him into her home to take care of the adorable little dog. When speaking with reporters, Markle said she had two dogs and loved them a lot. They’re both rescue dogs, and they’re “doing just fine.”
