Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Wedding Will Be The Place For Celebrity Sightings!
The Spice Girls are reuniting for a UK and US tour later this summer, but a new report says that they are also becoming a wedding band for one very famous couple. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have invited all five ladies to their wedding, and they aren’t just going to be guests – they will also be performing at the reception.
According to TMZ, Mel B (AKA Scary Spice) went on The Real this week and had a tough time keeping secrets. She first admitted that all the women had snagged invites, and then she confirmed that they would be providing some of the entertainment.
All the women have agreed to a reunion and signed on with producer Simon Fuller for the concert dates later this year – despite Victoria Beckham’s denial – and it seems they will be using the royal wedding as a tune-up.
Other famous faces who will reportedly be at the big event include Harry’s ex-girlfriends Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas.
The prince dated Davy on-and-off for seven years before they officially ended things in 2011. He then dated Bonas for two years until they split in 2014.
The red-headed royal has apparently stayed friends with both women and made sure there were no hard feelings after the break-ups.
The palace has not yet released an official guest list, but rumors are swirling that Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra will get an invite, as well as tennis star Serena Williams and Markle’s Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams.
Other possible guests include former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, Sir Elton John, Justin and Sophie Trudeau, James Blunt, Ellie Goulding, and Joss Stone.
Harry and Markle’s wedding date is May 19th, and they will tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same church where he got baptized back in 1984.
Fans around the globe will have the chance to see the couple exchange vows since the wedding will be broadcast on television, and the couple reportedly wants the public to feel part of the celebration.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at noon in the UK, which means American fans will have to get up early to see the couple become husband and wife since that is 7 a.m. on the east coast and 4 a.m. on the west coast.
The couple has not released many details about their big day, but there is speculation that Markle will opt to have a Maid of Honor instead of a chief bridesmaid, and she wants her mom Doria Ragland to walk her down the aisle.
It is also likely that the couple will receive the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex once they are married.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not confirmed which celebrities are invited to their nuptials.
