Rumor has it that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting not one baby, but two! Are the two really going to become the parents of royal twins this upcoming spring?
This is what the fans of the blue blooded family believe.
The birth of twins hasn’t actually happened in the British Royal Family in no less than 588 years!
This is one of the main reasons why a lot of fans are convinced Harry and Meghan are about to change that.
In fact, they are so sure of it that they are willing to bet their money on it – literally!
It turns out that a betting company named Paddy Power had no choice but stop taking the wagers on the topic precisely because of the huge number of betters.
A spokesperson for the company released an official statement through Us Weekly that says: ‘An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to have twins forced us to stop taking any more bets on the market altogether. Since the day started, the stream of bets led us to believe that the punters — or maybe an insider source — knows more than we do.’
The last time that a British Royal couple gave birth to twins was back in 1430 when James I of Scotland and Queen Joan had twin sons James and Alexander.
Unfortunately however, Alexander did not survive his first year of life while James did go on to succeed his father to the throne.
As for Meghan and Harry, the two are excited to become parents and the Prince previously confessed that he would love to have a baby girl.
But that, of course, doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be happy to have a second bundle of joy as well!
