Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds is moving on with her new boyfriend, Christian Schauf, just seven months after her sudden split from her estranged husband, Jim Edmonds. The Bravolebrity revealed on Instagram that she spent Memorial Day weekend with Schauf in his hometown of Park City, Utah.
“MDW plans include: becoming a mountain woman 🏔 …brb ✌🏻,” wrote Meghan in the caption of a pic that featured the 35-year-old in front of a mountain background. The photo was geotagged in Park City, Utah, and an insider revealed that Meghan spent the holiday weekend in Utah with Schauf, while her three kids – Aspen, 4, Hart, 2, and Hayes, 2 – were in St. Louis with Jim.
On her Instagram Story, Meghan gave her fans more details about her holiday weekend trip. She revealed in a video that she went “actual real mountain biking” for the first time ever, and it was “crazy,” “hard,” and “super-duper scary.” However, she still wants to go again.
Meghan also shared a series of pics from her outdoor adventure and wrote in the caption: “Def wouldn’t have guessed this is what I’d be doing over MDW 2020 but here’s proof I did the mountain thing (I had an E bike to help so I totally cheated.) Y’all … nature is HEALING.”
Earlier this month, In Touch Weekly revealed that Edmonds and Schraub had been dating for a few months, and the mom-of-three is already “head over heels in love.” An insider claimed that the couple has a lot in common, and they are both “really into each other.”
While Meghan has moved on with Schauf, Jim has started a relationship with Kortnie O’Connor. Fans might remember that O’Connor was the woman who Meghan said had threesomes with her and Jim during their marriage. Jim and Meghan split in October 2019 after she accused him of cheating with one of their nannies. They are currently in the process of getting divorced, but they have already agreed to 50/50 custody of the three kids they share.

Memorial Day always takes me back to our times in Iraq. And I’ll never forget Memorial Day 2009 in Basra, Iraq with the Minnesota National Guard. Just a few days prior, several members of the unit lost their lives to a mortar attack and the tone around the Memorial Day event was extremely somber. Immediately following a service to honor to lost members, we were supposed to put on a show. We huddled as a band and brainstormed on how to find some light among all of the sadness and came up with a plan. We walked out onstage, Mark started playing the opening riff to ‘Whole Lotta Love’ by Led Zepplin, and Zach and I talked the highest ranking official in to stage diving in to his troops. The moment he jumped, faces changed. Smiles emerged, and we kept playing that song until everybody in the crowd had a chance to stage dive in to their unit. I’ll never forget the emotion, the sing alongs, the high fives, and the conversations we had following that show. Memorial Day always feels like the kick off to summer, but is a day to remember and honor. Make sure you take at least a moment today and reflect on what today is all about.
While Meghan was exploring the mountains over the Memorial Day weekend, Jim and the kids were enjoying time in the pool. He posted a pic on his Instagram Story of Aspen smiling big and added the hashtag #PoolTime.
Christian Schauf – who is the CEO of Uncharted Supply, an emergency survival kit company – posted a tribute to American soldiers on Monday. He shared a story from when he was in Basra, Iraq in 2009, and asked his followers to take a moment to reflect on what Memorial Day is all about.
Meghan King Edmonds commented on the post, writing that it was “a beautiful story and tribute.” She also shared that her new boyfriend inspires her.
