Megan Thee Stallion Says She's ‘Traumatized’ After Being Shot - 'Black Women Are So Unprotected'
Megan Thee Stallion went through a living nightmare just the other day and she took to social media to slam those seeing her ‘traumatic’ experience as just another ‘messy topic’ on the internet! As you might know, the star ended up being shot and needing surgery to remove the bullets but the physical wounds of the shooting might be much lesser than the mental ones!
That being said, Megan Thee Stallion took to her Twitter to post an emotional message in which she addressed those taking her attack lightly and thinking it was rather ‘funny’ as the video of her interaction with the police is circulating all over the internet.
She wanted to remind everyone that what happened is her ‘real life.’
Megan Thee Stallion was apparently shot in the foot after a party at Tory Lanez 's place.
The man was arrested by the police while Megan was declared a ‘victim’ and taken to the hospital.
The rapper’s tweet reads: ‘Black women are so unprotected and we hold so many things in just to protect the feelings of others without considering our own. It might be funny to you all on the internet and just another messy topic to talk about but this is actually my real life and I am real life hurt and traumatized.’
This is the second time Megan Thee Stallion addresses the traumatic experience she went through.
LAPD Detective Meghan Aguilar shared with HollywoodLife that ‘Due to statements made by Meg Thee Stallion they [LAPD Hollywood division] have changed the type of investigation they had, which was shots fired, and they are now looking at it as assault with a deadly weapon and she is listed as a victim.’
