The Toronto rapper, Tory Lanez, was charged with one count of felony assault and possession of a firearm following what happened between him and Megan Thee Stallion during the summer months this year. As most know by now, Tory was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot after an argument.
As the story goes, the rapper and Megan were fighting over Kylie Jenner which the rapper later confirmed on one of his tracks from DAYSTAR, which he released on his Soundcloud account amid the allegations and subsequent charges.
Since then, the rapper has remained relatively silent on the matter, until this week, when he appeared on his Instagram Live to talk about what happened, and also explain his side of the story.
On his account, in front of around 200,000 people, Tory defended himself while appearing to dance around the topic, however. Lanez also rejected the idea that he doesn’t care about black women, because according to Tory, he has always put black women front and center in his music videos.
Tory also said he has never hurt a woman in his life, although, some of the rapper’s ex-girlfriends have come out to accuse him of abuse, Hot New Hip Hop claims.
Either way, Lanez’s Live appearence appeared unfocused, with the rapper explaining nearly everything about his thoughts and feelings toward the controversy, but never denying what happened outright. Megan Thee Stallion apparently caught wind of the Livestream.
In a tweet you can see below, Megan accused Tory of being “crazy.”

Getting back to the topic of Tory’s video, the rapper also explained what it was like for many of his former collaborators and friends to drop him at the first sign of the allegations. He claims many of the people were his friends before, even appearing on Quarantine Radio.
Of course, many of his relationships in the business have vanished after Megan went public with her claims. As a result of the controversy, Lanez saw his bars eliminated from a Kehlani music video, moreover, Jojo dropped him from one of her songs as well.
