Megan Thee Stallion Claims Tory Lanez 'Begged' Her Not To Go Public With Shooting Story
Megan Thee Stallion did a new interview with GQ Magazine in which she revealed more surprising details about the Tory Lanez fiasco. As most know, Tory had been accused of shooting Megan in the foot after a pool party one night during the summer.
The result of which saw the ostracization of Tory from the music industry. Initially, Megan Thee Stallion , the "Savage" and "WAP" rapper, didn't say much about what happened between them until she finally came out and confirmed that it was Tory who allegedly shot her.
According to Page Six who picked up on the new issue from GQ, Megan claims Tory pleaded with her to not say anything about what happened. She also says Tory went so far as to offer her money to not disclose what went down between them.
Megan said she was incredibly surprised at Tory's suggestion because at the time the protests were ongoing and it was a terrible time for black Americans. She went on to say that she couldn't even believe that Tory would suggest taking the money.
According to Megan, Tory fired shots at her as she was stepping out of the vehicle. Moreover, she says she never even said anything to him when she got out of the car.
Followers of the case know Tory has denied shooting her, but he was charged with the crime back in October, including possession of a firearm and felony assault. Tory will appear in court tomorrow, this Wednesday, the 18th of November.
A lawyer representing Lanez denied the allegations, saying to Page Six that he has never offered financial incentives in exchange for silence. His attorney-at-law went on to say that any reports suggesting otherwise were "false."
Earlier this year, Tory, after several months of total silence, took to his Instagram to deliver a long-winded explanation of what had happened between them. Megan Thee Stallion never responded directly to his Livestream, but she did drop a tweet in which she said, "this n*gga crazy."
As the story goes, Tory and Megan had supposedly gotten into an argument over Kylie Jenner.
