Everyone is excited including ourselves because Meek Mill finally received the justice he deserved! He was released from a state correctional institution in Chester, Pennsylvania yesterday, April 24.
He served five months for violating probation on a decade-old drug and gun case. Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael G. Rubin picked Meek up after the got releases, and the rapper was back in Philly in no time.
He arrived just in time to ring the Liberty Bell before the Sixers playoff game against the Miami Heat.

‘To the Philly District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice. I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues,’ he also tweeted.
