According to new reports, Meek Mill was denied bail in his hugely controversial probation violation case, by the very same Philadelphia judge who was slammed with accusations of being ‘prejudiced’ against the man. The 30-year-old Meek’s lawyer showed up in court today, December, 4, and asked for bail pending an appeal to the rapper’s 2 to 4 years long prison sentence.
But we have learned that the star’s attorney was not successful as Judge Genece Brinkley denied the emergency petition.
Legal documents also prove Brinkley even called him a ‘flight risk’ and a ‘danger to the community.’
In addition, the judge also questioned whether or not his ‘clean drug tests’ are valid, ‘suggesting he might’ve used Fast Flush to cleanse his system,’ insider revealed.
Joe Tacopina, Mill’s lawyer, claims the judge’s decision does nothing more but ‘continue her long pattern of unfair treatment’ of the performer.
As you may already be aware, many fans as well as fellow celebs who are convinced the judge is biased against Meek, have been trying to appeal to common sense and fair treatment in order to find him justice.
Stars like Drake, Jay Z, La La Anthony and more, are still rallying for Meek and begging for his release by taking to social media and fighting on his behalf.
Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years behind bars for violating his long probation following his 2008 drug and weapons charges.
For now, the rapper remains in SCI-Chester prison after previously being held at SCI-Camp Hill.
Do you believe the judge’s actions are justified or should Meek Mill be released?
