Matthew Perry And Molly Hurwitz Break Their Engagement
However, just days after being part of the Friends reunion special, the actor announced that they had broken their engagement, choosing to walk their separate ways.
In an official statement he gave PEOPLE, Perry shared that 'Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best.'
As you might know, the two were engaged for no longer than six months before they decided to split.
The engagement was first announced back in November of last year, on Thanksgiving.
At the time, he told the same news outlet that 'I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the very greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.'
Before this announcement, the two had been dating for about two years since they started seeing each other sometime in 2018.
Despite this, they were not photographed together until December of 2019.
Sure enough, they kept their romance as private as possible and even Molly's IG account is private, keeping her posts away from prying eyes.
However, it's been reported by sources that she posted a very sweet message dedicated to Matthew on Valentine's Day last year.
As mentioned before, the sad news of their breakup comes just after Matthew reunited with his Friends co-stars for a special fans have been looking forward to for many years.
The HBO Max reunion aired on May 27 and now, reports say each actor received 'at least' $2.5 million to show up, as per The Wall Street Journal.
The stars looked back on their decade of portraying the beloved characters, reminiscing and sharing never before heard stories from behind the scenes.
