Masika Kalysha is no longer a cast member of Vh1’s Love And Hip-Hop franchise. However, rather than packing up her reality TV career up for good, Masika is now making her way onto the set of another series on a different network.
In a report from The Jasmine Brand, the publication claims that the reality star is getting ready to join the cast of Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta – a show that is, coincidentally, very similar in name to Love & Hip-Hop.
As it was previously reported, fans recently noticed that Masika wasn’t on the latest trailer for the next season of L&HH, and Zell Swag confirmed that he and Masika wouldn’t be coming back to the franchise. While Kalysha moved on for more professional reasons, Swag was booted off for fighting with another man on set.
If the rumor that she’s joining the new reality series holds any weight, that means she’ll be working with the likes of Bow Wow, Reginae Carter, Ayana Fite, Shaniah Mauldin, and Brandon Barnes.
As you may know, Growing Up Hip Hop is the original series that all of the other subsidiary shows are based on. Due to the success of the original, they created an Atlanta division.
The first one began on the 7th of January, 2016, and it follows the lives of hip-hop performers or those who are the children to famous rappers and other entertainers.
On the 15th of March, 2018, WE tv announced the show would come back for its fourth season, which started on the 24th of May, 2018.
Reportedly, Growing Up Hip Hop was established by Datari Turner and is produced by his company, Datari Turner Productions as well as Entertainment One Studios. Fans of Fetty Wap’s baby momma will be happy to hear that she’s making it back on to the small screen.
