The neighbors of Mark Salling opened up today in an interview with Us Weekly regarding the passing of the Glee alum. Celebrity Insider reported earlier today that the 35-year-old actor and singer died by a supposed suicide, following his plea deal for four to seven years in prison on account of child pornography charges.
A woman living in Los Angeles’ Sunland Tujunga neighborhood said to the publication on the 30th of January that Salling typically kept to himself.
Although he had friends over from time to time, he never really threw parties or anything over the top. He kept quiet and kept the peace, while always showing respect to the people who lived in the area.
She knew about his arrest for possession of child pornography, something which made her felt uncomfortable because of all the kids who lived nearby.
Let me be clear. Having compassion for #MarkSalling in no way minimizes his crimes, nor does it minimize the pain and devastation of the victims of those crimes. I'm just saying stop adding to his family's pain. This was their son. If you're without sin, feel free to cast stones.

Another neighbor of the deceased actor said he managed to keep his nose out of trouble and many people didn’t even know he lived there until the news broke of his arrest back in 2015.
As it was mentioned at the beginning of the article, Salling struck a plea deal with state prosecutors back in October of 2017 which meant he would serve four to seven years in prison.
Additionally, he had to stay at least 100 feet away from public areas where children typically hang out at all times.
Tim Davis, the producer who worked on the set of Glee, said he has compassion for Mark despite his crimes, but that doesn’t mean he minimizes the severity of those crimes.
Matthew Morrison, who portrayed Will Schuester on Glee shared a photo of himself along with Cory Monteith and Salling. Corey died back in July of 2013 due to a drug overdose.
