A few of the late Mark Salling‘s ex Glee co-stars, including Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison, have chosen to talk about the disgraced actor’s passing but his former girlfriend Naya Rivera has decided to keep quiet. As you may already be aware, Salling, who was found guilty of possessing child porn and was awaiting his sentencing, was found dead on January 30.
He committed suicide by hanging.
Apparently, Rivera hadn’t talked to her former co-star and ex for years after Glee.
‘After Glee, Naya pretty much lost all touch with Mark. And after the allegations were revealed, she did not want to be near him or hear about him,’ one insider revealed.
They went on to say that ‘Mark was pretty much out of her life for awhile. Naya is not intending to comment on the whole situation with Mark’s death, and she is not losing any sleep over it. She feels like everything happens for a reason and would like to move on by not referencing it.’
It makes sense considering the two were not at all on good terms when they put an end to their relationship in 2010.
Besides, five years later when Glee ended, and Mark was also busted for child pornography, things between the former lovers did not change at all.
Apparently, the two broke up before the second season after Mark had supposedly cheated on Naya.
Rumors at the time claimed she got revenge by dumping dog food on his doorstep and egging his car.
However, both actors denied it.
In her memoir Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up, Naya talked about learning Mark had been taken into custody by the police.
‘My son’s nanny told me about it when the story broke. Then I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way,’ she wrote in the book.
Are you shocked Naya is refusing to acknowledge Salling’s suicide in any way?
