Following the arrest of a man named Luke Sky Walker, whose mug shot subsequently went viral, Mr. Mark Hamill, the man who actually played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films, came out and expressed his remorse for the fact a man was slated with that title, to begin with.
Originally arrested one year ago in 2017, Luke Sky Walker was detained by police when he and some of his friends were caught driving a Honda Civic in possession of approximately 40 street signs in a small town in Tennessee -Carter County.
Fans joked online that there must not be a lot to do in the town of Carter County if stealing road signs is the big entertaining spectacle of the night.
Mr. Sky Walker was in the news once again this past week after he violated probation. However, Mark Hamill doesn’t care that much about his crimes; he cares more about the name Luke was given.
In a tweet you can see below, Mark explained that the real crime is that someone gave him that moniker in the first place:

Furthermore, Hamill joked that Mr. Sky Walker not only has the terrible name but is also too short to even be a Stormtrooper, standing at just 5’6″ tall.
When fans first picked up on the reports, they went to Hamill’s Twitter and social media accounts to let him know about it. As most know, Mark loves to use Twitter.
As for Mr. Sky Walker, it hasn’t been revealed what he did to be held without bond, but it can’t be good, considering authorities aren’t allowing him to be released yet. Back in 2017, it wasn’t hard for police to spot he and his friends, considering they were driving a gold Honda Civic.
After their initial crime, Luke and his friends were all held on just a $4,000 bond which they all posted within just 24 hours.
Currently, Luke Sky Walker is sitting in jail awaiting further notice from police. Putting aside all of his crimes, perhaps it’s a better idea for parents to refuse other children fuel for the bullying fire, so to speak.
