Marilyn Manson Cancels Multiple Shows After Onstage Injury
After his accident, the artist will have to stay away from the stage for a while. Marilyn Manson decided to postpone all of his shows starting with October 2nd and ending on October 14. During this break, he will be focusing on regaining his health in Los Angeles following his onstage injury.
‘On Saturday, the legend suffered an injury on stage towards the end of his set at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom, causing him to cut the show short. He was treated for the injury at a local hospital and will be recuperating at home in Los Angeles. The shows from Boston, October 2 through Houston, October 14 will be rescheduled for a later date. Manson hopes to return to the stage soon, more details on upcoming shows to follow,’ a rep for the rocker stated.
However, even though he had no choice but put his tour on hold, the rep also revealed that the injury would not be affecting the release of Manson’s 10th studio album, titled Heaven Upside Down.
That being said, it will still be available starting this upcoming Friday, as originally scheduled.
As fans certainly know, Marilyn Manson suffered a freak accident about 45 minutes into his set on Saturday night.
As he has performing Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics, the singer tried to climb a podium flanked by two massive prop guns, at which point, they ended up toppling over.
The show was abruptly stopped, and the singer got help as soon as possible.
