Mandy Moore's TV Husband Milo Ventimiglia Approves Of Her New Fiance
Mandy Moore is getting married and the blushing bride-to-be looks like she couldn't be happier!
During a recent interview with Ellen Degeneres, where she sat between costars, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown, the singer turned actress was congratulated on her upcoming nuptials.
Degeneres asked if Moore's fiance had met her television husband, played by Ventimiglia, who laughed and said yes. Degeneres then asked if he was at all possessive of her because of how closely they work together. To which he replied no.
"I didn't get asked for her hand in marriage," Ventimiglia joked, "but at the same time, I was okay with it."
Moore and Ventimiglia come alive as the parents to three kids on runaway hit This Is Us . They have a very specific type of chemistry and bond that caused some fans of the show to wonder if they were actually dating in real life. Moore's recent news has effectively squashed those rumors and it looks like their bond isn't necessarily of the romantic variety.
This will be Moore's second marriage as she was married to musician Ryan Adams for seven years. Her new fiance Taylor Goldsmith and she have been dating for over two years.
Moore was first introduced to the industry as a bubble gum sweet teenager in the pop music scene. She had quickly fading success and disappeared from the limelight for quite some time. She reemerged to play the title role of romantic tearjerker A Walk To Remember . She then did some voiceover work, most notably voiced the main character in kid-favorite Tangled before landing the role as the mother on This Is Us.
Perhaps acting was her strong suit all along and music was just something fun she really wanted to do as a kid growing up. Either way, the show is highly regarded and critics and fans alike have sung its praises after only one full season.
The second season of the hit show premieres Tuesday, September 26th at 9 pm.
