Twelves years after Wilmer Valderrama told Howard Stern that he took Mandy Moore’s virginity, Mandy came out to tell her side of the story. According to Moore, “he did not. I dated him when I was 16 or 17, and I love him, and I still love him.”
Moore explained that the situation was very hurtful to her because not only was it a lie, but it wasn’t like him to do something like that. She said, “but it was so unlike him and so uncharacteristic.”
During a chat with Howard on his SiriusXM radio show, the 34-year-old actress said she met him during a photoshoot for a teen magazine. At the time, she was just 15-years-old.
And at that age, she had never even kissed a boy yet. She said, “Again, like never french-kissed a boy.” And while she didn’t fool around with him, he was her first “true boyfriend.”
As you may know, the That 70’s Show star, 38, said to the infamous talk show host, 64, that he was Moore’s first lover. Vilmer said the “sex was good” but it wasn’t like “warm apple pie.”
After his false – and vulgar – revelation on the show, Mandy reached out and spoke with him about the ordeal. Moore said she asked him why he would say such a thing, especially if it was a lie?
Even though they had a little hiccup in their relationship, the “Candy” singer is still friends with him. The two have “moved past it now,” and aren’t that close, but are still friends deep down inside.
Moore went on to say that Valderrama is a good man, and he was even at her house a few months back when she had some of her friends over. As you may know, Wilmer is a lothario of sorts, as he has dated many celebrities in the past, despite not being that famous himself.
During the end of the interview, Moore shared what it was like to go on a date with him for the first time. They went out for sushi and “it was lovely,” the actress explained.
