The former Lost co-star had something to say about Evangeline Lilly not taking the Coronavirus quarantine seriously. Maggie Grace made it very clear that she did not agree with the other actress when it comes to her stance on staying at home as much as possible and practicing social distancing.
They might have history together since they both acted on the very popular show, ‘Lost’ but that’s not to say that Maggie would automatically show support towards her former co-star since she disagrees with her approach to the pandemic.
As a result, she used her platform to urge Lilly to follow the rules, especially since another one of their former Lost co-stars, Daniel Dae Kim, has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
Under Lilly’s post about the virus, Grace shared a lengthy response, expressing concern over how she’s been dealing with the global crisis.
Indeed, the actress who played Kate on the show, told the world that she would go about her life, ‘business as usual’ which got her a lot of criticism online.
Maggie argued that ‘There’s no need to panic, but at the same time this is about all of us – the vulnerable, the immuno-compromised, the older folks. Sure, it is a free country, but how about choosing to exercise some of our wonderful freedom to have some compassion, to trust the extensive science and not overwhelm the health system.’
‘No doctor should have to choose which patients get life-saving care and which of the patients get sent back home to die – the sort of triage that’s tragically happening in Italy right now. Think about how these small decisions affect your dad and those in your community as the ventilators run out,’ she went on to write.
After urging Lilly to stay at home with the kids, she ended her message by mentioning Daniel: ‘PS Daniel said he is doing a lot better btw. I don’t know, Maybe you guys want to chat?’ The shade!
